The Installation „Running of Age” is based upon the opera “Songs from the Uproar – The Lives and Deaths of Isabelle Eberhardt” by Missy Mazzoli and investigates the development of a reality offside societies norms. The work deals with a constant departure from familiarity and guides the viewer through the motion sickness within the eternal spirit of moving onward.

Setting a virtual space and its production area against a textile Quilt, it draws a parallel between digital and analog reality and asks how far we can explore, construct and expand these worlds.
